No Guarantee of Data Recovery

Customers acknowledge that data recovery attempts may result in partial recovery, corrupted files, or no recoverable data.
Risk Acknowledgement
By authorizing data recovery services, the customer understands and accepts that:

- Recovered data may be incomplete or corrupted
- Devices may stop functioning entirely during recovery attempts
- Existing damage may worsen during the recovery process
iFixTechRepairs is not responsible for data loss that existed prior to service or for additional data loss resulting from recovery attempts.
Payment Terms and Authorization
All data recovery services require full payment upfront before work begins. Authorization to proceed with data recovery constitutes approval of all associated costs, regardless of recovery outcome.
Once data recovery work has started, no refunds will be issued, even if data cannot be recovered in whole or in part. This is due to the time, labor, tools, and resources required to attempt data recovery.
No Refund Policy
Because data recovery services involve labor-intensive processes and non-reversible diagnostic work, all data recovery fees are non-refundable once service has begun. Customers acknowledge that payment covers the attempt to recover data, not a guaranteed result.
Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for:
- Informing iFixTechRepairs of any prior repair or recovery attempts
- Providing accurate information about the device and issue
- Backing up data whenever possible before service
- Verifying recovered data after service completion
It is the customerโs responsibility to confirm that recovered data meets their needs before leaving the premises or accepting completed service.
Privacy and Confidentiality
iFixTechRepairs respects customer privacy and handles personal and business data with care. Data accessed during recovery is used solely for the purpose of performing the requested service. We do not intentionally view, copy, or share customer data outside what is necessary to complete the recovery.
Customers acknowledge that limited access to files may be required during the recovery process.
Limitation of Liability
iFixTechRepairs shall not be held liable for:
- Loss of data
- Loss of business, revenue, or personal information
- Consequential or incidental damages
- Devices that fail due to pre-existing conditions or recovery attempts
By proceeding with data recovery services, the customer agrees to release iFixTechRepairs from liability related to data loss or device failure associated with the recovery process.
Service Authorization
Authorization of data recovery services constitutes acceptance of this policy. Customers may be required to sign a service authorization form acknowledging these terms before work begins.
